“Music Sommelier,” the platform uses sound to enhance flavors, aromas, and emotions at the table.
SoundFood is based on the neuroscience of taste and sensory psychology. The phenomenon of crossmodal synesthesia shows that sounds influence flavor perception: for example, high frequencies
enhance sweet notes, while low tones amplify bitterness and richness. This approach is known as “Sonic
Seasoning.”
It is an innovative IoT device that uses 8-channel beamforming technology to create localized “sound
bubbles” above individual tables, allowing different music to be played in different areas of the
restaurant without interference.
No. The lamp is designed with an “offline-first” approach. Once the music curated for your menu has
been downloaded from the cloud, the device can operate autonomously without an internet
connection, ensuring a smooth service even in case of Wi-Fi instability.
The SoundFood Lamp includes a built-in battery that guarantees a minimum of 3 hours of continuous
playback, covering the typical duration of a lunch or dinner service.
Through a dedicated private area, the chef enters the menu details. Our Artificial Intelligence
algorithms (based on MusicGen) generate unique sound combinations based on the intrinsic
characteristics of the ingredients and their flavor profiles (sweet, salty, bitter, etc.).
Management is extremely simple: floor staff can control volume, playlists, and device status through an
intuitive web interface accessible from any smartphone, tablet, or computer connected to the
restaurant’s network.
No. The lamp is easily configured via an Access Point mode that guides the user through connecting it
to the restaurant’s Wi-Fi using a smartphone, without requiring advanced technical skills.

Absolutely. Thanks to beamforming technology, each table can enjoy a unique and independent
sensory journey, perfectly synchronized with the courses being served at that moment.
The lamp periodically performs an automatic check (polling) with our cloud servers to verify whether
new tracks are available for your menu and downloads them autonomously in the background.
System administrators can remotely access the devices to monitor their health status (battery,
temperature, connectivity) and resolve any issues through software updates.
